ROSY CHEEKS
Bundle up, grab your toboggan (or borrow one of ours), and get ready for a day that leaves your heart full, and your cheeks delightfully rosy! This Family Day, February 16th, New Brunswick Social Pediatrics is teaming up with Miramichi Canoes and the Grand Bay/Westfield Winterfest for our inaugural Rosy Cheeks fundraiser! Located at the Westfield Golf and Country Club, we will be hosting a joyful sliding day for families to go sledding while raising money for New Brunswick Social Pediatrics. This first-ever event isn't just free, it's also about fun, and more importantly fueling brighter futures.
This exciting day will be packed with excitement: treats, music, raffles, prizes, and the chance to witness a beautiful toboggan being hand-crafted on site by a skilled artisan! You will also have the opportunity to win an unforgettable New Brunswick build-your-own-toboggan Staycation experience! Celebrate Family Day the best way: outdoors, together, and by making a real difference. The inaugural Rosy Cheeks Fundraiser is where winter fun meets community impact.
Our valued partner, Miramichi Canoes, has handcrafted TEN beautiful, artisan toboggans specifically for this special event! Donors of 1000$ will be gratefully honoured by receiving one of these ten stunning toboggans—personalized with the donor’s name or organization’s brand on the toboggan itself!
These artisanal sleds are not only fun for the whole family, but also a great way to give back to your local community through your donation. Miramichi Canoes will also be present during the event to skillfully demonstrate the building process on-site!

AUCTION
To support this event, we will have a live raffle at the event and are hosting an online auction for a one-of-a-kind experience!
NB Social Pediatrics is auctioning off a New Brunswick Staycation at Miramichi Canoes in Doaktown, where a couple or family of four will enjoy a build-your-own toboggan experience to treasure for years. Arrive Friday to a warm welcome dinner and begin crafting your toboggan. Saturday brings a hearty home-cooked breakfast and a full day of building, followed by a cocktail hour and a five-course gourmet meal. On Sunday, you’ll pack up your hand-built masterpiece along with a weekend full of memories.
In Support of Positive Childhood Experiences
Your donations will go directly toward event costs and fundraising efforts for NB Social Pediatrics, specifically, our Brighter Horizons fund.
Our Brighter Horizons fund directly supports meaningful positive experiences that build resilience and joy—a first summer spent at camp, uninsured therapy sessions, warm winter gear, or a safe space to express emotions through art. These moments matter, and through your support, they become possible.
