We are committed to advocating for the rights and well-being of children and families who face adversity due to various factors such as poverty, homelessness, trauma, toxic stress, substance use, or other challenges. At NBSP, we envision a community where children are valued, respected, and able to reach their fullest potential in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment.

Support for birthing parents

We recognize the complexities surrounding substance use during pregnancy and understand that it can be a deeply challenging and stigmatized experience. Our goal is to provide compassionate support and resources to birthing parents who are navigating this journey. Our programs are designed with a trauma-informed and harm-reduction approach. This ensures that all interactions are sensitive to the needs and experiences of our participants.

Empowering Families

Families facing vulnerability often encounter systemic barriers that can make it difficult to access essential services and support. Through advocacy and collaboration with community partners, we work to break down these barriers and empower families to access the resources they need to thrive.
