Brighter Horizons
Brighter Horizons is a support program that provides positive childhood experiences (PCEs) to marginalized children and youth. We work to fill financial gaps that prevent children from low-income families from having these positive experiences that build resilience in the face of adversity. Delivered through our community social pediatrics clinic, we work to buffer the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) by helping children feel safe, supported, and capable.
Our Supporters
The demand for Brighter Horizons continues to grow as more children face complex challenges and financial hardship. With over 200 children currently on our social pediatrics roster—and nearly all in need of support—the need for funding has never been greater. We’re incredibly grateful to key supporters like The MacMurray Foundation, The Tim Hortons Foundation, and the Johansen Larsen Foundation whose generosity helps ensure vulnerable children can access the life-changing experiences they deserve.
