She has extensive experience in respiratory and cardiovascular clinical research. She is a graduate from the Master of Arts in Political Science program at the University of New Brunswick where she focused on the intersection of health, cities, and marginalization. In her role as research coordinator she ensures research projects are in compliance with regulations, standards, and policies, and coordinates the implementation of research projects.

She is passionate about women's health, pediatrics and their overlap with the social determinants of health. She is currently working on a project with NBSP that is screening for youth substance use across the region.
