Sarah has a background in health research, the social determinants of health, project management and building stronger communities. In her role with the Research Program she provides oversight to the research and data initiatives, while fostering community partnerships.

Clinical Research Manager
Natalia Fana is the Clinical Research Manager at NBSP. Originally from Moldova, she studied in Romania and the United States of America before moving to Canada. She has extensive experience in respiratory and cardiovascular clinical research. In her role at NBSP, she provides oversight to team members, students, and volunteers, managing daily operations and overseeing the organization's research projects.

She is a graduate from the Master of Arts in Political Science program at the University of New Brunswick where she focused on the intersection of health, cities, and marginalization. In her role as research coordinator she ensures research projects are in compliance with regulations, standards, and policies, and coordinates the implementation of research projects.
